2) Data collection when visiting our website
If you only use our website for informational purposes, i.e. if you do not register or otherwise provide us with information, we only collect the data that your browser transmits to our server (so-called “server log files”). 3) Cookies
In order to make your visit to our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, we use so-called cookies on various pages. These are small text files that are stored on your end device. Some of the cookies we use are deleted after the end of the browser session, i.e. after you close your browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your device and enable us or our partner companies (third-party cookies) to recognize your browser on your next visit (persistent cookies). If cookies are set, they collect and process certain user information such as browser and location data and IP address values to an individual extent. Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a specified period, which may vary depending on the cookie.
If personal data is also processed by individual cookies implemented by us, the processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR either for the execution of the contract or in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR to safeguard our legitimate interests in the best possible functionality of the website and a customer-friendly and effective design of the page visit.

4) Making contact
Personal data is collected when you contact us (e.g. via contact form or email). Which data is collected when using a contact form can be seen from the respective contact form. The principle of data minimization and data avoidance is observed in that you only have to provide the data that we absolutely need to contact you. These are your surname, your e-mail address and the message field itself. In addition, your IP address is processed for technical reasons and for legal protection. All other data are voluntary fields and can be provided optionally (e.g. to answer your questions more individually).
This data is stored and used exclusively for the purpose of responding to your request or for contacting you and the associated technical administration. The legal basis for the processing of this data is our legitimate interest in responding to your request in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. If your contact is aimed at concluding a contract, the additional legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. Your data will be deleted after final processing of your request. This is the case if it can be inferred from the circumstances that the matter in question has been conclusively clarified and provided that there are no statutory retention obligations to the contrary.
5) Tools and miscellaneous
5.1 Honeypot
To protect our online forms from spam and misuse, we use so-called honeypot technology. This involves integrating a hidden field that is not visible to human users. Automated bots that fill in this field are recognized as spam and their request is automatically blocked. This technology is used on the basis of our legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR to ensure the security of our website. The data collected will not be stored or passed on to third parties.
5.2 Booking appointments via Zeeg
On our website, we offer you the opportunity to contact us and make an appointment with us directly. We are supported in this by the appointment booking tool of our service provider Zeeg GmbH, Friedrichstr. 114 A, 10117 Berlin, with whom we have concluded the contract required under data protection law.
When using the tool, the information you enter in the input mask, such as your name, email address, desired date, reason for the appointment and telephone number, is requested and processed in order to book the appointment and confirm this to you by email afterwards. The principle of data minimization and data avoidance is observed in that you only have to provide the data that we absolutely need from you to book the appointment. In addition, your IP address is processed for technical reasons and for legal protection. All other data are voluntary fields and are optional.
In order to be able to offer you the appointment booking function, we need your consent (see Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR / § 25 para. 1 TTDSG), which you can give, for example, by making the appropriate selection in our Consent Tool when you first visit the website. Of course, you can also revoke your consent here at any time without giving reasons.
The data entered will be used exclusively for the planning and execution of the appointment and will not be passed on to third parties. The data collected will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the intended purpose.
For more information on the handling of your data, please refer to the information provided by Zeeg: general terms of use at https://zeeg.me/de/legal/gdpr and the data protection information at https://zeeg.me/de/legal/privacy.

When processing personal data on the basis of express consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR, this data is stored until the data subject withdraws their consent.
If there are statutory retention periods for data that is processed in the context of legal or quasi-legal obligations on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, this data will be routinely deleted after expiry of the retention periods, provided that it is no longer required for contract fulfillment or contract initiation and/or we have no legitimate interest in further storage.
When processing personal data on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, this data is stored until the data subject exercises their right to object in accordance with Art. 21 (1) GDPR, unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.
When processing personal data for the purpose of direct marketing on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR, this data is stored until the data subject exercises their right to object in accordance with Art. 21 para. 2 GDPR.
Unless otherwise stated in the other information in this declaration on specific processing situations, stored personal data is deleted when it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed.
7.1 Disclosure to third parties
We will only pass on your data to third parties within the framework of the statutory provisions or with the appropriate consent. Otherwise, your data will not be passed on to third parties unless we are obliged to do so due to mandatory legal provisions (disclosure to external bodies such as supervisory authorities or law enforcement agencies).
7.2 Recipients of the data / categories of recipients
Within our company, we ensure that only those persons receive your data who need it to fulfill contractual and legal obligations.

The service providers are IT service providers, our online agency, social media providers and our partner PLAATO.
7.3 Transfer to a third country / intention to transfer to a third country
Data will only be transferred to third countries (outside the European Union or the European Economic Area) if this is necessary for the performance of the contractual relationship, is required by law or if you have given us your consent to do so.
We do not currently transfer your personal data to any service providers or group companies outside the European Economic Area.
7.4 Secure transmission of your data
We use appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect the data stored by us against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons. The security levels are continuously reviewed in cooperation with security experts and adapted to new security standards.
The exchange of data to and from our website is encrypted. We offer HTTPS as the transmission protocol for our website, in each case using the current SSL and TLS encryption protocols.
It is also possible to use alternative communication channels (e.g. by post).
7.5 Automated decisions in individual cases
We do not use purely automated processing to reach a decision.
